Reporting a code that will not scan
This is the most useful kind of report we get, and the hardest for us to reproduce without help. Please include:
- which page you used, and what you entered (with anything private replaced — never send us a real Wi-Fi password or UPI ID);
- the phone and operating system version doing the scanning, and which scanner app;
- whether it was scanned from a screen or from print, and roughly how large;
- whether it failed every time or only sometimes.
Before reporting, it is worth checking the two usual causes: a cropped white border, and a code printed too small for the distance it is read from. The guidance on each generator page covers both.
Privacy requests
Write to the same address with “Privacy” in the subject. Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold — which is very little, since there are no accounts and the content of your codes never reaches us.
The Android app
QR Generator Lite is published by ABLN Technologies. For crashes, please say what you were doing at the time; crash reports reach us automatically, and knowing which steps produced one makes it far quicker to fix.
